Module 1: Find out what's wrong
When something is wrong, there's probably nothing more stressful than waiting around to have tests done or to see a consultant. That period of not knowing can often be more frightening than the results themselves
With HSA's Medical Plans you'll get to see a consultant quickly, at a place and time that's convenient for you. It provides unlimited cover on out-patient and day-patient consultations and tests, so you can be sure everything will be done to help find out exactly what's wrong with you
We understand it can be frustrating seeing a different person at each appointment, which is why we endeavour to arrange that you see the same consultant throughout. We also take the hassle out of booking appointments and paying the relevant people, so you can concentrate on getting better.
What is covered? We will cover the following for any undiagnosed symptom:
- Unlimited number of out-patient and day-patient tests to diagnose a condition, such as pathology, MRI scans, CT scans, and PET scans.
- Unlimited consultations
- All specialists and consultants fees
- All private hospital charges funded
What is not covered by the health insurance? Consultations and diagnostic tests that are used for:
- Existing medical conditions that have already been diagnosed
- Monitoring a condition
- Treatment purposes
- Diagnosing symptoms that were present before taking out the plan, for a period of two years (i.e. Pre-existing medical conditions)
- In-patient tests
